Care Package

For the weekends in between visits, Karen always sends a little package for Ben to open on Saturday that often has a book or toy or something he likes, but ALWAYS has some sort of tasty treats that he loves (like a Reece’s PB Cup, a frequent staple). She also writes a little card or note to go with it that he reads aloud with his staff. In this case, the video picks up about halfway through (and thanks again Anola). He’s reading quietly, but this is what he’s saying, starting about halfway through the note: “… a treat. We hope that you are having a very good day today. Mommy and Daddy will visit you…Mommy and Daddy [“and Jake,” Ben’s own addition — he keeps us together in his mind] will visit you on Friday. Mommy and Daddy!”
